Math Against Tyranny takes a look at why the Electoral College is a good idea. It was written back in 1996, so the 2000 debacle isn’t mentioned, but it’s still very interesting. But heed the warning in the subject line. However, the article does use sports as a basis for its argument. Which is pretty cool.
