I enjoy traveling, especially when it does not include getting stuck in an airport (which, sadly, happens more than it probably should). Among the places I've been: Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Israel, Washington DC, Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, New Orleans, Albany (New York, not Georgia), New York City (and East Rutherford, NJ), ... and various other places where I've been for short periods of time. I've put together a
map showing some of them: many of the trips I took during college, and most of the trips I've taken since. (Heavy Flash lifting courtesy of
Bryan Boyer's IndyJunior). A few of the nodes link to photo galleries, which you can also find here:
- New Orleans 1999: I go to New Orleans for 36 hours or so, to try out for the Jeopardy College Tournament. I didn't make it, but it was a fun first trip to the Big Easy.
- Phoenix & San Diego 2004: I spent three days in Phoenix and about five days in San Diego during August 2004. I went to two Dave Matthews Band concerts, spent time with relatives, saw the San Diego Zoo, and a few other sights. I took full advantage of my digital camera over those 8 days.
- Cruise 2004: I went on a 4-day, 3-night cruise to the Bahamas with my family. The weather wasn't great, as you'll see. They actually had to cancel our stop in CocoCay because of the winds. So, you don't see any pictures of bright, sunny beaches. But there are a lot of other pictures worth checking out.
